Cypress Campground & RV Park (formerly, Holiday Travel Park) located in Winter Haven, Florida is the Central Florida outdoor experience just 2.5 miles from Legoland . The RV park is an easy drive to the attractions in Orlando, Florida, including: Disney, Epcot, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Water Mania, Wet N’ Wild and much, much more. Cypress Campground is the only RV Park, RV Resort, or campground on Cypress Gardens Boulevard (Route 540) in Winter Haven, Florida (Polk County). The Park is 1.2 miles from Highway 27 and is 19 miles to Interstate 4 (I-4). The Sebring International Speedway is 40 miles from the RV Park and we are close to Bok Tower, Water Mania, Fantasy of Flight Air Museum, a farmer’s market and indoor flea market. The recreational vehicle park is adjacent to Super Wal-Mart with a private entrance in walking distance. The park is 0.5 miles to Lake Bess golf and close to: Other golf courses; a number of lakes for fishing or boating including Lake Eloise, Lake Fox, and Lake Ruby; a flea market; local restaurants; theaters; Eagle Ridge Mall; other recreational activities; and other retail stores.
Cypress Campground has 191 RV sites with 120 pull thru sites many of which are “Big Rig” friendly on 19 flat acres of outdoor accomodations with a full set of amenities providing continual activities during the winter months catering to seniors, while providing a family friendly balance of campers and RVers. Cypress is a Good Sam’s park.
Amenities include a large heated swimming pool, shuffleboard, bocce, basketball, horseshoes, billiards, outdoor giant chess, playground, and ability to walk, jog or bike on our grounds. Campsites generally include full hook-up to sewer/water, 30/50 amp electric, Wi-Fi, and 70 cable channels. RV sites accommodate all types of RVs including park model homes, motorcoach homes, fifth wheels, and travel trailers.
In addition to the use of our amenities, seasonal activities include water aerobics, bingo, line dancing, potluck dinners, card and board game nights, sewing and crafts, coffee socials, and group trips to a casino, restaurants, bowling, and golf. We have a clubhouse and a separate recreational room with a pool table, TV, and darts. We offer three conveniently located laundry facilities and four bathhouses. We offer propane sales, rv consignment and park model sales, and outside RV/boat/vehicle storage.
RV sites are rented daily, weekly, monthly, and on a six month seasonal basis. Groups are welcome. The Park is pet friendly. On site management is available to provide our campers and guests the highest quality outdoor hospitality experience. Cypress Campground is a member of the ARVC, FL ARVC and Passport America.
